This journal wanders about. It's poetry, reflections, snippets from other stories and ideas of others, and my own pot luck thoughts reflecting the transparent thinking of this post-traumatically stressed, majorly depressed social phobic before and after my breakdown.

Chicken Pox Pie

My two sweeties have had chicken pox, one week apart and so Nana comes and loves them up till they're better! They really are the best kids, so beautiful, interesting and energetic. Spending time like this with them really underlines what every grandmother must feel! JOY!!!

The little gal is a gorgeous, smiley, smooshy but savvy charmer and easy, easy to get along with. The age (13 months) is so FUN! They are always so curious and exuding this amazing trust babies have. They don't have a choice, really but my little one accepts it all with such grace!! My doll.

Mr. GO is a pretty normal dude (except that he's incredibly handsome, charming and funny). Yes, there's the irritating and oppositional stuff that every five year old goes through. but watching him grow to schoolage has been such a privilege. I am in awe of his "boyboyboy-ishness" (having never raised one and i don't remember my brother's being so much fun with trucks and guy stuff). He's also very sporty and i'm proud of his determination.

I pray every day for their safety, protection and well-being. I pray that they always be in the hands of those who love them. They, too, have saved my life.
